The script explores themes of identity and mental health, as our protagonists struggle with the dilemmas of ambitions ... Fans of Shakespearean era theater should appreciate this ... the crux of the story opens a discussion of "power" in a fundamental way. When "power is in charge" it isn't monogamous, and it shifts as needed. When someone needs power, they are the least in control, and the script peppers elements of the ethics of power (and the ethical quest FOR power), which the setting compliments the tone and plot wonderfully. The writer's voice brings something new to the arena, one which stands apart from its peers. ... [T]he characters are complex, and it feels like the writer cares wholly about their characters' fates, which is almost fused together in this three-hander. Overall, the voice has something to say, and it brings an authenticity to the story, which could not exist but for their knowledge of history, story, and setting ... the writer's voice has talent, and it has the potential to have a solid career writing powerful character-pieces.
